Bikram yoga improves muscle strength, reduces stress, detoxifies, regulates weight and improves mental condition. Regular exercising improves lung capacity, strengthens and straightens bones and joints become more elastic.
Initial exercises of Bikram yoga consist of 26 asanas (yoga postures) and two breathing exercises. The goal is to train your body systematically for 90 minutes.
Exercises on postures are performed in a heated room and their goal is to warm the body. Bikram yoga exercises help you work on deep muscle tissue, tendons and ligaments.
The warmth of the room provides total body stretchening, improves circulation and blood flow. This initial sequence of exercises is especially designed for beginners and anyone can do them, regardless of age, sex, weight, strength and stamina.
Bikram yoga consists of initial yoga movements and postures, so there is no possibility to hurt yourself. At the end of each exercise every muscle, tendon, joint, ligament, internal organ and gland you have is fully in function, blood flow is improved up to 100 % and blood enriched with oxygen flows throughout the body.
