Fatigue
Fatigue is among the first symptoms you can notice when it comes to lung cancer. It may remind you on the feeling you get right after you catch a cold or flu. This symptom is caused by the cancer and there is nothing you can do to make fatigue go away.
Substances which are released, travel through circulation and affect the oxygen in the body, red blood cells’ health, adrenal glands’ health and the health to every organ that is included in the process of producing energy.
Sick And Thickened Fingers
Both finger thickening and finger pain can be caused by several things but the most plausible cause is lung cancer. Many people are fooled and think that those are arthritis symptoms.
Fingers can be thickened under the nails as well and you can feel swelling, warmth and see redness around the nails.
Lung cancer causes releasing of different substances through circulation, thus stimulates the finger tip tissues’ growth as well as growth of the tissues which are located under the finger nails. Lack of oxygen in the blood can also limit the circulation in the fingers.
Short Exhale
Almost 15% of lung cancer patients have never smoked in their lives. The causes for their disease usually are exposure to pollution and chemicals and passive smoking. Even though shortness of breath can be linked to different diseases, lung cancer also causes this symptom. If you feel like you are out of shape, your breathing is toughened (especially when you inhale and exhale deeply), consult your doctor immediately.
Muscle Weakness
Often muscle weakness can indicate you have lung cancer. This symptom occurs when harmful substances travel throughout blood circulation and end up in the muscle tissues. If these substances spread in the brain, you may suffer weakened brain function in the one side of the brain.
If you feel like you must use more energy than usual, for doing your daily duties or you feel constant fatigue, again, consult your doctor as soon as possible to find out if you suffer from lung cancer or not.
Chest Pain, Shoulder Pain, Back And Abdominal Pain
Chest pain often in connected with heart attack. In case you do not belong in the “risk group” and the chances of getting a heart attack are very low, consult your doctor to find out if you have lung cancer or not. Chest pain occurs in 1 out of 4 lung cancer patient as a first sign.
Pain in the back, shoulder and abdominal area remind of the feeling you get when your muscles are weakened. But, if this pain lasts longer than usual, you guessed it, see a doctor.
