Peel the ginger and cut it into thin slices. Next, add the ginger slices into bowl and add the water. Cook this mixture on low fire for 15 to 20 minutes. Strain the tea and add lemon or honey if you want to.

Ingredients needed:

  • 4 tablespoon of fresh ground ginger
  • 2 glasses of water
  • Half a lemon
  • 1-2 tablespoons of honey
  • Half a teaspoon of turmeric

Method of preparation:

Chop the peeled ginger into very small pieces and let it soak in boiled water for at least 30 minutes. The long it soaks the better. After it cools down, add some honey and lemon if you want to. Never add honey into hot liquids because it will lose all of its health benefits.
