Japanese Homemade Remedy To Relieve Back And Joint Pain

This simple Japanese recipe made of just 1 ingredient is quite popular and those who have tried it say that after just 1 week you will feel improvement.

Why should you try this homemade remedy?
People suffering from neck and back pain are well aware of the annoying feeling and bad mood this pain causes. We recommend you try this recipe to maintain joints lubricated, and at the same time reduce back pain.

Use 10 tbsp /150 grams of gelatine powder or gelatin sheets (leaves) you usually use for cakes and cookies. This dose is enough for one month.

You can buy Gelatine Sheets from here: PerfectaGel Silver Gelatin Sheets (170 Bloom) – 20 Sheets

In the evening add 2 flat teaspoons of gelatine in 1/4 cup of cold water, stir well to get a smooth texture and let it rest till the morning.

During the night gelatin will turn into jelly, and you should eat it in the morning, before eating anything else. You will not lose the effect if you add some yogurt and honey.

This homemade remedy should be used for a month, followed by a 6-month break. In this way you will lubricate joints and increase mental stability. This remedy will also help you improve metabolism and the growth and quality of your hair and nails.

Gelatine is a useful product with exceptional quality for health improvement:

  • Strengthens joints and heart muscle
  • Prevents the development of osteoporosis and osteoarthritis
  • Improves metabolism
  • Increases mental ability
  • Gives elasticity and strength of tendons and ligaments
  • Maintain healthy skin condition

Eva says:

How many sheets of gelatine do I put in to 1/4 cup of water to make this please?

admin says:

4 sheets of gelatine

joan says:

why cant I just use a packet of moirs jelly.

Greg says:

If using sheets, how to know ‘how much’ is two tablespoons?

Levent Dervish says:

Rather than using processed powders etc, why not just cook up a whole free-range/organic chicken once per week? The liquid contains all the minerals-substances from the bones-tendons-skin etc and makes a thick jello that will last in the fridge for a week. I would say this is superior to powders. The japanese typically buy a gelatine type water
that’s also popular here in the UK. They promote is as anti-wrinkle, it contains much less gelatin than a chicken broth and is, as you can imagine, 10 times the price and comes in plastic bottles.

p.s I don’t believe veg sources of gelatin are as good, as vegetables don’t have joints like animals do, just my thoughts”

Pam says:

I did the exact measurement but it was too thick.

lisa says:

admin says:

Karen Gimbert says:

I’m definitely going to do this starting tonight I suffer 3 fractures in my back in 2008 after a RTA
I also have osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis some crumbling toe sockets which have been
Pinned I’ve been on strong medication for the pain for far too long and still have pain I suspect my body have become used to them but as there’s nothing else any stronger I’m stuck with them
Now I’m hoping instead of masking the pain I can alleviate the pain and discomfort by rebuilding the lubrication in some of the joints..
I know I can’t turn back time and repair what’s already disintegrated but to ease that continual gnawing Pain in joints that aren’t would be a bonus:-)
I will repost the results in a month if I can find this page again 🙂
Thank you for sharing this

Ken says:

I’m curious what your source is here? I’ve traveled to Japan a few times and never heard of or seen this. None of my Japanese friends have any idea what I’m talking about when I asked them either. The closest thing I could come up with is Kanten which is usually prepared as a sweet and not typically eaten at breakfast.

admin says:

Dear Ken, this homemade remedy was recommended by one Japanese expert for alternative medicine that work with us.

Ken says:

What is said experts name, I’m sorry but I have a hard time believing anything that is just a blanket statement without any solid evidence or sources.

Kay says:

Since we in the USA do not know nor research everything that is claimed to be another country’s traditional medicine, marketers just say whatever they want. I can tell you that the gelatin for joints, hair, nails remedy has been used for many years in the USA. I never heard it called a Japanese thing, I believe that is just marketing.

brenda says:

admin says:

Yes you can Azmi

‘vegetable gelatin’ is usually agar agar derived from seaweed, and although it has its own health benefits, it does not provide the same nutrients offered by animal gelatin, namely animal collagen
