Homemade Old Wives’ Remedies for Allergies

Castor oil:

This effective home remedy for allergies was discovered by Dr. Hemant Pathak. He discovered that five drops of castor oil in half a cup of juice from any fruit or vegetable or just mixed in plain water, taken on an empty stomach in the morning, have a very useful function against allergies in the intestinal tract, skin allergies and nasal passages. Dr. Pathak stated that he managed to protect huge number of allergy cases with using this method.


Lime is considered as an effective remedy for any kind of allergy. Half a lime squeezed into a glass of lukewarm water, and sweetened with a teaspoon of honey is an excellent home remedy.

You can consume it once a day, right after waking up, in a period of several months. This remedy does not only purify the body from toxins, but it also acts as an antioxidant and allergenic agent.

Of course, people who are allergic to citrus fruits should not use this remedy.


One or two bananas per day are significantly useful for people who have allergies caused by some kind of food,and those who often suffer from itching of the skin, digestion disorders or asthma. Fruits can certainly cause an allergenic reaction in individuals that are more sensitive to it. These individuals should avoid eating fruits.

Vegetable juices:

Amount of 500ml carrot juice in combination of carrot juice with beetroot and cucumber juice is very effective against allergies.

When we talk about mixed juices, 100ml of beetroot juice and cucumber juice should be mixed with 300ml of carrot juice separately in order to prepare half a liter of mixed juice. Take this juice once a day.

All of the products are 100% natural and vegetal, do not contain any chemicals, preservatives or additives and are purely vegetarian and natural.

Plants play an important role in purifying the blood naturally and act in a synergistic way in order to fight the allergies, and they are also useful in the removal of saliva from the body.

The best way to protect your body against the allergy attack is to strengthen the physical resistance,so it will not fall under any allergen that comes across.

For starters, the patient should be on a diet of fresh fruit juices for four or five days.  If you repeat this fresh fruit juice diet, it will result in greater tolerance to previous allergies.

After the juice diet, the patient should take mono diet that contains vegetables or fruits such as carrots, grapes or apples for a period of one week. After the diet, you may add more nutritional food.

After one week you can add another type of food in your diet and so on. After four weeks, you can gradually add protein foods in your diet. If you notice allergy appearance from the new diet, you should stop and replace it with another type of diet.

In this way, you can remove all of the real allergens from your diet. You need to exclude these foods from your diet: tea, coffee, chocolate, cold drinks, alcohol, sugar and sugar products, refined grains, meat, fish, chicken, tobacco, butter, smoked, salted and sour foods and also foods that contain any type of chemical additives, preservatives or flavor enhancers.
